A three-day Capacity Development Workshop dedicated to students and educators has successfully concluded at Kailali Multiple Campus. Organized by the Faculty of Science, the workshop under the theme "Empowering Educators Through AI and Practical Laboratory Tools" was held in the campus assembly hall from Jestha 12 to Jestha 15. Aimed at promoting modern technological advancements, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and practical laboratory knowledge, the workshop featured training sessions from renowned scientists and professors representing various prestigious universities and research centers across the country.
Day 1: Grand Inauguration & Digital Technology Session (Jestha 12)
The first day of the workshop was officially inaugurated on Jestha 12 under the chief hospitality of Professor Dr. Yagya Raj Pathak, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Farwestern University.
The inaugural ceremony witnessed a significant presence of professors and students, including the Campus Chief, Associate Professor Dr. Lok Bahadur Bista, and the Head of the Faculty of School of Natural Resource Management, Assistant Professor Siddha Raj Panta. The prestigious event was coordinated by Assistant Professor Dr. Rama Devi Joshi, the Department Head of the Faculty of Science.

Introduction to Digital Tools & Managing Digital Storage: Facilitated by Assistant Professor Santosh Giri from the Institute of Engineering (IoE), Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University.
AI-Based Assessment Tools & Hands-on AI Demonstration: Facilitated by Lecturer Sushant Chalise from IoE, Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University.
Day 2: Cyber Security, Data, and Scientific Skills (Jestha 13)
The second day of the workshop focused extensively on Information Technology, data analysis, and crucial laboratory methodologies.

Cyber Security Basics: Facilitated by Assistant Professor Kshitiz Bhatta from the BSc-CSIT department of Kailali Multiple Campus.
Data-Driven Insights in Education: Facilitated by Assistant Professor Deepak Raj Bhatta from the B.Ed-CSIT department of Kailali Multiple Campus.
Advanced Laboratory Experiments & Software for Experimental Documentation (Origin DFT): Facilitated by Professor Dr. Bhawani Datta Joshi from Tribhuvan University.
Introduction to Scientific and Experimental Skills: Facilitated by Assistant Professor Dr. Rama Devi Joshi from Kailali Multiple Campus.
Day 3: Practical Laboratory Exercises & Closing Ceremony (Jestha 15)
On the final day, participants were actively engaged in hands-on laboratory and field-based practical learning experiences.

Lab/Field Based Activities (Bacteria, Culture, Growth): Facilitated by Scientist and Assistant Professor Dr. Gorakh Raj Giri from the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST).
Working with Muffle, Furnace Distillation Apparatus: Facilitated by Dr. Rama Devi Joshi.
Specialized Session: Facilitated by Dr. Prem Singh Saud, Assistant Professor at Kailali Multiple Campus and former Dean of the Faculty of Science at Farwestern University.
This highly informative 3-day learning workshop successfully concluded on Jestha 15 with a special closing ceremony, group photo sessions, and congratulations extended to all participants.
